A. Menz Sherwood of Winfield, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the age of 93 years.

Menz will be remembered and missed by his siblings: his brother, Don of Lethbridge; and his three sisters, Inis Froam of Sylvan Lake; Illana Rudy of Ladysmith, B.C.; and Irene Shelfontiuk of Castlegar, B.C.; in addition to several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many cherished friends. Menz was predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and Ivan; and one sister.

A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Menz’s Life was held at the Winfield Community Centre, Winfield on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robin Wheale officiating. Interment followed in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Winfield. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Menz’s Memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
