We are saddened to announce that Glenn J. Hoy of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the age of 90 years.

Glenn was born in Bashaw, Alberta and worked the majority of his life in the Rimbey area in the oil and gas industry, as well as in the trucking business. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his four children Garry (Sharon), Dawn (Roy), Kevin, and Teresa (Kelton); in addition to seven cherished grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Glenn will also be lovingly remembered by his brother Hjalmar; his sister Betty; along with several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

With respect for Glenn’s wishes, no formal funeral service was held. He was laid to rest in the Bashaw Cemetery at a later date.
