Our beloved cousin and friend, Margaret Elizabeth Jost of Winfield, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the age of 83 years.

It is always difficult to summarize the life of someone so loved and missed. Margaret was a kind and beautiful soul, and she will be forever in our hearts. Margaret lived a modest life. She loved her home and garden, and the peace they gave her. Margaret was always happy to share a meal, and provide a shoulder to lean on when needed. Words can’t express the depth of the loss felt by her family and friends, but we are comforted knowing that she is safe in the warmth of angels.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her cousins Rose Marie and Catherine Garvey; many additional cousins residing in British Columbia; as well as several second cousins. She will also be lovingly remembered by her dearest friends Raymond (Janet) Becker of Buck Lake; Fairlie Janz of Winfield; and Shannon Leask of Pendryl; in addition to numerous other relatives, friends, neighbours, and acquaintances. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Ed and Elizabeth “Lizzie”; and her brother Edward “Eddie” Jost in 2021.

A Graveside Service was held in the Maywood Cemetery, Buck Lake at a later date. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Margaret’s memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
