Left behind with broken hearts, the family of Kay Blair of Westerose, Alberta, formerly of Shelburne, Ontario, announces her peaceful passing.  Kay passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, May 20, 2024, one week before her 63rd birthday.

Kay will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Jim Cooke; her three daughters Teressa Blair (Hunter Holoboff) of Camrose; Kylie Blair of Ponoka; and Celina Sullivan (Devon Waller) of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia; as well as two precious granddaughters Alyssa and Sasha.  She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her brother Ian (Cindy) Foster of Cambridge, Ontario; her nephew Corey Foster (Ali Douglas-Fish); in addition to many cherished friends.  Kay was predeceased by her parents Neil and Joan Foster.

With respect for Kay’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.  At a later date, she will be laid to rest alongside her parents in England where she was born.  If desired, memorial donations in Kay’s memory may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #100, 119 – 14 Street NW, Calgary, Alberta  T2N 1Z6 (www.heartandstroke.ca).
