With sadness in their hearts, the family of Danny “Dan” Green of Innisfail, Alberta announces his passing.  Dan passed away peacefully in Innisfail on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 70 years.

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his only daughter Erin Green (David) and their son Johnny, all of Duncan, British Columbia.  He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother Sarah of Picton, Ontario; two brothers Paul and Jim, both of Picton, Ontario; and one sister Holly of Napanee, Ontario; as well as many additional family members and several good friends.  Dan was predeceased by his father Ronald; and his sister Mona.

Dan’s family will host an Informal Gathering in his Honour at the Royal Canadian Legion, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  If desired, memorial donations in Dan’s memory may be made directly to Friends of the Earth Canada, 1404 Scott Street, Ottawa, Ontario  K1Y 2N2 (foecanada.org).  Thoughts and messages to the family may be shared through the condolence area located at the bottom of this page.
