GURNEY

Barbara “Barb” J. Gurney of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the age of 86 years.

Barb will be remembered by many distant family members and several cherished friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Leonard on October 4, 2017; as well as her three children.

With respect for Barb’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.  She will be laid to rest at the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey at a later date.  If desired, memorial donations in Barb’s memory may be made directly to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Canada, 13893 Highway 7, Georgetown, Ontario  L7G 4S4 (www.jw.org).  Thoughts and messages to the family may be shared through the condolence area located at the bottom of this page.
