LAPOINTE
Annette G. Lapointe of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Hughenden, Alberta, passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
Annette will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her eight children Vivian (Cliff) Longman of Rimbey; Janet Klasson of Edmonton; Daniel (Jacqueline) Lapointe of Sylvan Lake; Renée Lapointe (Mike) of Tallahassee, Florida; Suzanne Hayes (Eric) of Calgary; Richard Lapointe (Tracy) of Czar, Alberta; Patrick Lapointe of Rimbey; and Nicole (Calvin) Sayer also of Czar. She will also be lovingly remembered by 18 cherished grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and close friends. Annette was predeceased by her parents; her husband Bob in 2018; son Gilbert; grandson Benjamin; great-granddaughter Brooke-Lynn; one son-in-law Jim; and ten siblings and their spouses.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Rimbey on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Les Drewicki, Celebrant. A Family Interment of Annette’s cremated remains took place at a later date in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Bluffton.
