On Friday, January 27, 2023, Thomas “Tom” William McGaw of Sylvan Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre – Long Term Care at the age of 84 years.

Tom will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife and best friend Judy; his two sons Michael (Kelsey) of Stony Plain; and Stephen (Tracy) of Kamloops, British Columbia; and his daughter Judy (Kerry) Palyga of Calgary. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by six grandchildren Jake, Megan, Joel, Crystal, Kalem, and Shane; many great-grandchildren; his brothers Pat and John, both of British Columbia; in addition to several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and close friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Bea; his daughter Kathy; one brother Gordon; and one sister Marge.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Tom’s Life was announced at a later date. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Tom’s memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
