A devoted and loving mother, Margaret is survived by her two sons Kirk Melnick and Jason (Linda) Melnick. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Margaret’s best friend and life partner, Bill Varns, brought her joy and companionship throughout the years. She is also survived by her siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and many additional family members and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held in late August or early September, 2025, with details to follow. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey.
