ROSENTHAL

Heaven gained an angel.  Left behind with broken hearts, the family of Loanna “Lou” Lynn Rosenthal of Rimbey, Alberta announces her passing.  Lou passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, with her loving family at her side, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the age of 61 years.

Lou was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and faithful friend to many.  She was supportive, loving, patient, and had the best sense of humour.  Lou left a lasting life legacy that included kindness, strength, courage, positivity, and faithfulness.  She was everyone’s cheerleader.

With beautiful memories locked inside our hearts, Lou will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 40 years, Roy; her children Michele Rosenthal, Corey (Tania) Rosenthal, Brad Rosenthal (Autumn Roberts), and Nicole Toliver; as well as her grandchildren Cody (Ashley) Rosenthal, Kaley (Logan) Jess, Kolista (Jacob) Davison, Alyssa Rosenthal, Arley Milton, Kian Roberts, Lochlan Roberts, Emily Toliver, and Blake Toliver; and her great-grandchildren Hudson Rosenthal and Layne Jess.  She will also be forever remembered by her faithful mother Gerda Friesen; a large extended family who will miss her greatly; and many close friends.  Lou was predeceased by her father Bill Friesen.

“Loanna’s absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew her.

Always loved… endlessly remembered… forever missed.”
