With sad hearts we announce that Wanda Magdalena Schwingel of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at her home at the Valley View Manor, Rimbey on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 92 years.

Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her son Herb (Donna) Schwingel; three grandchildren Stefanie (Randy) Sutherley, Angela (Gary) Bennett, and Kyla (Jordan) Davidson; as well as three great-grandchildren Tyra, Kaylee, and Mya, all of Bluffton, Alberta. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Alma Sequi, and Herta Sereda, both of North Vancouver, British Columbia; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Wanda was predeceased by her husband George in 2014; and two sisters Irene Handke, and Elsie Bauer.

With respect for Wanda’s wishes, no formal funeral service was held. A private Family Service in Celebration of Wanda’s Life took place at a later date. She was laid to rest beside her husband George in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley.
