Eva Marie Thebeau of Winfield, Alberta passed away quietly at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the age of 80 years.
Eva was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on September 29, 1943. Throughout her life she lived in the Hoadley area, as well as in Rimbey, Winfield, and Valleyview; then to Mankota, Saskatchewan, before finally settling back in Winfield.
Eva will be remembered by her four sons Gary, Bill, Larry, and Glen; in addition to numerous treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her two brothers Don and Allan Elliott; along with several nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.
Eva was predeceased by her parents William and Kathleen Elliott.
With respect for Eva’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held at this time. She will be laid to rest in the Bunker Hill Cemetery, Winfield at a later date. If desired, memorial donations in Eva’s memory may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice. May God grant Eva's family peace and strength as they do the final things for Eva. I met her as a chaplain when I visited Winfield. She was always welcoming, friendly and open to me. I very much appreciated the little time that I had to know her. May God hold and keep her.
