Diana Mary B. Whillans of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Area Two on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the age of 80 years.

Diana will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends.  She will be laid to rest with her parents in the Highwood Cemetery, High River, Alberta in the spring of 2024.  If desired, memorial donations in Diana’s memory may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes Canada), 1300–522 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario  M5G 2R5 (www.diabetes.ca).

God’s Garden

Imagine the world as God’s garden, where beautiful flowers abound.

And each day He gathers His blossoms.  His heavenly home to surround.

He gathers a few tiny rose buds, earth’s precious wee babies so sweet.

The large buds, earth’s children and teenaged, in heaven to God are a treat.

Our adults, His blossoms so radiant.  With textures and colours untold.

The flowers most full and most open, are earth’s precious aged and old.

Its daily He gathers His flowers.  He lovingly forms His bouquets.

That day, as He gathered His blossoms, your loved one was taken away.

But remember the beauty and fragrance; the colours, the petals, the thorns

For now in the glory in Heaven, your loved one God’s home does adorn.
