WOODS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie E. Woods of Rimbey, Alberta on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the age of 74 years.  Her final moments were spent peacefully, with her loved ones at her side.

Leslie deeply cared for her children and was fiercely proud of them, and always enjoyed sharing in their accomplishments and many adventures.  Her passion was in nurturing those around her, whether it was her family, friends, or the flowers in her garden.  Leslie was a lady who strived to selflessly help others throughout her life; and could always be relied on for support, encouraging words, a warm hug, a great laugh, and a hot cup of tea.

Leslie is survived by her husband John Perry; and her loving children Jennifer (Mark) Resch, and grandchildren Keelan and Jonas; James (Michelle) Woods; and Veronica Woods; as well as Mike (Stephanie) Perry, and grandchildren Lily and Mia; and Robyn (Jason) Ainsworth, and grandson Cooper.  She is also survived by her sister Louise (Maurice) Lake; her brother Wes (Gail) Smith; and her high school pal Bonnie (David) Sheehan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Leslie will be dearly missed, and will be remembered for the joy and happiness

 that she brought to others throughout her life.
